Entraide Plus and the Chambly Basin FADOQ Club are proud to present a luncheon seminar on the psychosocial challenges associated with retirement. For this event, Mr. Yvon Riendeau (M.A.B. Éd., social gerontologist, trainer, and educator since 1986) will present a luncheon lecture titled: Retirement: A Wonderful Opportunity to Reinvent Your Time.
Retirement from work involves significant transitions: losses, grief, new experiences, and a reassessment of social and marital time, in addition to the crises and life stages associated with aging. Social and occupational engagement plays a vital role in maintaining good mental health, and filling one’s time can take many forms, some of which may be unexpected.
