It’s a time to get together and enjoy each other’s company!
A variety of activities are held on a weekly basis, giving you a chance to come out and socialize, take part in a sport, attend an outing or celebrate a seasonal theme (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc)
Here’s what awaits:
- Web Aînés 2.0, one-on-one training: learning to use Internet on your computer, laptop or mobile device
- Caregiver and bereavement support groups
- Drop-in centre open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at our Chambly location
- Muffin & coffee ($3) and oatmeal & coffee ($4) every morning
- Full breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc.) on the first Friday of every month
- Knitting group – Les Tricotées Serrées
- Cribbage and board games – La gang des jokers
- Adapted Zumba & stretching with Web Or
- ABC Creativité
- Spanish and English language classes
- Les Gardiens de la Mémoire (The Guardians of Memory)
What is this project about?
It’s a collection built around the most precious things we have: our history and our memories.
The idea for this project emerged during a brainstorming session at Entraide Plus, when the team was reflecting on how the pandemic had highlighted the isolation of many seniors in our society. From that reflection came a simple idea: to give a voice to those who hold our collective memory.
With this collection, we want to recognize and celebrate the legacy of our elders.
They have walked this path before us—sometimes with wisdom, sometimes through trial and error—and have left behind lessons that continue to guide us today.
Each person carries a story, a treasure waiting to be shared.
Through Les Gardiens de la Mémoire, our team helps participants put those stories into words, ensuring their voices are heard and remembered for generations to come.

This collection of stories from 30 local seniors—many originally from elsewhere—celebrates the knowledge, experiences, and values they continue to pass on to our community.

Spring-summer 2026 activities calendar
Halte-répit is available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at our Chambly location.
Drop-in respite (halte-répit) is available Monday to Friday at our Chambly location, our respite program allows caregivers to recharge or attend to other activities. Round-trip paratransit may be provided free of charge with the referral of a healthcare professional. Lunch from Resto-Entre is available at the caregiver’s expense and according to current menu prices.

Do you have a computer, smartphone or tablet and would like to be able to do more with your devices?
Our free one-on-one courses cover a wide range of subjects to your needs.
Here are some examples of the topics covered:
- Send and receive photos to friends and family
- Book appointments online with Clic-Santé
- Make videoconference calls (Zoom, Team, Skype, etc.)
- Learn how to organize your folders and images
- Play online games with friends (Scrabble, chess, bridge, etc.)

Cribbage Club and board games La Gang des Jokers
Mondays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Come and play a variety of board games or cribbage. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, everyone is welcome. Boards and decks of cards provided. Laughter included!

Watercolor classes – Wednesday, 1:30 pm to 4 pm
Discover the soothing art of watercolor! This beginners’ course will teach you the basic techniques for creating beautiful works: applying colors, working with transparencies, creating gradations and first simple subjects. A moment of creative relaxation, where each participant progresses at his or her own pace, without pressure, in the pleasure of painting.
All materials are included: paint, brushes and paper.

Spanish courses
Beginner course. Learn a new language, Tuesdays, 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. January 27 to March 31.

Intermediate course. Learn and improve your basic Spanish on Fridays from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. from September 26 to November 28.
