Staying at home with a little help

I was delighted to receive your help in raking up the dead leaves on my lawn. As an 86-year-old widow, I’m not as agile as I used to be, and it was great to have a volunteer come and give me a hand. We laughed together as we cleaned up – what a great time!

Thanks to you and your wonderful volunteers, who carry out odd jobs around the home, we can stay in our own homes, where we’ve experienced so much happiness.

The first time, a volunteer came to install a difficult-to-handle curtain pole. It was much appreciated too!

As Madame Janette Bertrand so aptly put it: “Stay at home! And that’s exactly what I can do, thanks to you and your support.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
